Cyprus
Originally we were planning to go to Sri Lanka as our first stop but that was before we became aware that October-November is potentially the worst time of year to visit that country since it is inter-monsoon and could be raining across the entire country. Instead Cyprus was chosen since it is a place we have both wanted to go and offers interesting nature, culture and a perfect climate at that time of year. We are going to rent a car in Lanaca airport and plan to spend the first week in Paphos (west) and the second week in the area around Lanaca. Blog posts below.
